The Levy County School District has announced any student who participates in a boycott, walkout, sit-in, strike, or any similar action will be subject to suspension or expulsion from school.
This District announced this after a text going around says a "national walk out for all school students" will be held tomorrow at noon in support of stricter gun control.
The District stated in a Facebook post, "while students have a First Amendment right of freedom of speech, it cannot be done so in a manner that is disruptive to the school environment."
