Cheryl hit back when she was quizzed about rumours she was splitting from Liam Payne at the launch of Cheryl's Trust Centre in Newcastle on Tuesday.
The 34-year-old was taking selfies with fans outside when she was asked: 'Are you and Liam OK?,' just a short while after deflecting questions about her personal life.
Having been put on the spot, she said: 'Yeah, we're great. Are you OK?'
Speaking live on BBC Breakfast earlier, the pop star unveiled the new state-of-the-art centre, launched in collaboration with The Prince's Trust, before insisting she would not let the claims 'frustrate' her or steal focus from the long-awaited launch.
Looking overjoyed at the prospect of the opening, Cheryl was glowing while sporting a low-key yet stylish ensemble comprising of a blue polo-neck, camel coat and complementary buckled boots.

Shortly after Cheryl focused on her charity work, Liam broke his social media silence about their relationship to show his support, writing on an image she posted.
He typed: 'Very proud of you! How you find the time to do this I'll never know.
'Over many years you've put all this together and put your heart into such a great cause! I hope one day I can do the same.'

Following days of speculation over her relationship, BBC presenter Dan Walker touched upon her personal life however a slightly frosty Cheryl appeared keen to deflect discussion away from the intricacies of her high-profile romance.
The Fight For This Love hitmaker told the breakfast host: '(Talk of my personal life) is not frustrating. It doesn't bother me at all as my focus is solely on this and I've waited seven years and none of that matters - this is most important to me.'
Shortly before her appearance, Liam insisted he was 'not fully settled down' as he has been hopping around the world with his solo career - following claims he has sought legal advice as friends claim he could split from Cheryl in weeks.

The launch comes amid claims Liam has sought legal advice as friends claim he could split from Cheryl in weeks. The couple, who are not married but have Bear, and live together in a Surrey mansion, are said to be considering going separate ways.
MailOnline broke the news that their relationship was 'under strain', with Liam, 24, spending nights away from home while the singer looks after their 11-month-old child.
Now it has been reported Liam has spoken to lawyers to see what a split would mean for their shared assets and the care of their son, according to The Sun. Liam has an estimated fortune of £54million while Cheryl is said to be worth around £20million.
A source close to the couple told the newspaper: 'Liam has sought some legal advice but he still wants to make it work.It's just sensible to be prepared for all options.

Away from the rumours, after dismissing her personal life, Cheryl said of the centre's launch: 'It feels amazing to finally be here. I mean this has been ongoing for years so I'm over the moon to be here.
'This is really a heart thing for me as this is where I'm from. I want to help all over the country but I wanted to start in my own town as I struggled myself as a teen and I don't know where I'd be now (without my big break).

Taking to Instagram, she shared a post reading: 'Too many young people grow up thinking no one cares and don't believe they can make anything of themselves. I want my trust to help them realise their potential and get their lives back on track.'
She also added a caption: 'My state of the art centre with the Prince's Trust is finally officially open - it has been years in the making and I am so excited to start helping change lives. Please feel free to call in if you feel like we could help'.
