Britney Spears is officially making a fashion comeback as the face of s latest launch, and the denim-centric collection has fans superexcited. Teasing the campaignover the last few days, the brand created quite the stir surrounding its La Collection Memento No. 2, and who was to be the face behind it. When Spears was revealed as its star on Tuesday, fans were not disappointed. However, some people did say that it took them a moment to recognize her.

In a series of eye-catching photos taken by Peter Lindbergh, the 36-year-old singer is seen in a number of jazzy Kenzo looks, including an all-denim ensemble. And although they’re all super Spears-inspired, people are upset with how little the mother of two actually resembles herself.
While a number of fans came to Kenzo’s pages because of their love for the singer, they’ve been outspoken about the unnecessary revisions they are blaming on the brand’s use of Photoshop, saying that in the altered Kenzo images, Spears looks more like Jessica Simpson or Kim Zolciak
“This is like a very photoshopped Jessica Simpson,” one person commented on the brand’s Instagram, while another took to Spears’s defense to say that all of the editing wasn’t necessary. “Bad photoshop. She doesn’t look anything like herself. I’d be so insulted if I was her.” But some are also taking the humor route to address the alterations, writing, “KENZO sells botox now?????”In the end, fans can agree to disagree on how the brand might have edited the photos. But many are still saying the collaboration is giving them “life.”
