In a short post on his Instagram account, Ed Sheeran has distanced himself from claims that one of his songs - Small Bump, from his debut album Plus - is anti-abortion.
The post, which went out to his 22,400,000 followers, explained that he had "been informed that my song Small Bump is being used to promote the Pro-Life campaign, and I feel it’s important to let you know I have not given approval for this use, and it does not reflect what the song is about."
None of the major anti-abortion campaign groups campaigning for a No vote in the upcoming referendum have so far made any statements on the issue.
The song was actually about a friend of Sheeran's whose pregnancy ended in miscarriage after five months, and here's the song in question.
